This depiction of Mother Mary comes from an antique French emblem. It is joined on either side by 2 smaller Mother Mary medallions.

This ring is inspired in part by the medieval adornments of French noblemen, as well as the Mexican Biker, or “Souvenir” rings, from the early 1900s.
Though vastly different cultures and timelines, the jewelry spoke to much of the same: honor, protection, and sharing the status of their wearers among their community.
In this ring, the use of religious motifs is far less about religion itself. It is symbolic of a belief in something greater than ourselves that provides support and protection on our chosen journeys.
